PublicWorth provides transparent, data-driven net worth estimates for public company executives, professional athletes, and politicians. Every figure is sourced from public records and can be independently verified.

How it works

Our system continuously ingests SEC filings (Form 4, DEF 14A), stock prices from financial data providers, and other public records. We use a three-bucket model to estimate total net worth:

  • Company Stock — Direct equity holdings calculated from SEC Form 4 filings multiplied by current market price.
  • Diversified Portfolio — Modeled from post-tax sale proceeds, assumed 90% invested in a broad market index (S&P 500), grown at market rate.
  • Cash Reserves — Estimated 10% of post-tax sale proceeds retained as liquid assets.

Confidence scores

Every estimate includes a confidence score (0-100) and a range reflecting our uncertainty. Higher scores indicate more data sources and greater accuracy. We believe in showing our uncertainty rather than presenting false precision.

Data freshness

Net worth snapshots are updated daily after market close. SEC filings are ingested within 24 hours of publication. Historical data is backfilled to provide long-term trend analysis.
